Butler Children
Alisa Butler shares with us the above delightful photos of her children

IVY KIDS Preparing for Halloween Fun
We will have Halloween classroom parties on October 31st. Your child
may wear their costume to school that day, no scary costumes please!

IVY KIDS Resumes Normal Operations this Monday
With power restored to our Pearland facility, IVY KIDS will resume full operations effective Monday, September 22, with normal hours of 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

IVY KIDS Re-Opens this Friday following Hurricane Ike
With power restored to our Pearland facility, IVY KIDS will RE-OPEN on Friday, Sept. 19, from 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. To help out on our first day, parents are asked bring sack lunches and snacks for their children. We plan to resume normal hours as soon as possible.
The IVY KIDS facility at Pearland held up very well during Hurricane Ike. We feel very fortunate for this. The building and surrounding property did sustain minor leaks and some fence damage ... all of which have been repaired.
We hope that all our families and staff are safe and made it through this disaster without any major problems.

Welcome Angela Casillas!
We would like to extend a warm welcome to our new IVY KIDS Education Director, Angela Casillas!
She will formally introduce herself at our Parent Orientation Sessions this month, so please
be sure to attend. For future reference, if you have any questions regarding your child’s
classroom, teacher, or curriculum, Ms. Angela will be pleased to discuss them with you.

IVY KIDS On Parade July 4
So many charming and happy faces make for a festive IVY KIDS July 4th
Parade. Thanks for the wonderful turn-out! We look forwarding to seeing
all the beautiful smiles again come the beginning of the new school season.

The whole school is excited about our upcoming Book Fair. Each child will
visit the fair with his/her class, and will have the opportunity to purchase
books.
Mark your calendar for May 12th-16th so you can select books for your
child's teacher to help build her classroom library.

IVY KIDS Child Wins Local Coloring Contest
We are very pleased to announce that one of our students has won a local
coloring contest. Her name is Lucy Ding and she is 5 years old.
She is
shown here, as she appeared in the Friendswood /Pearland Journal, proudly
displaying her 1st place coloring entry. We think it's fantastic.
