The facilities at IVY KIDS Early Learning Center allow us to offer exciting Summer Camps Programs that are second to none. Our programs are entertaining, educational, high quality and convenient. Children can be dropped off at 6:00 am and picked up at 6:30 pm. Here is a sample of some of the summer programs offered by IVY KIDS. Please note: our summer programs are always in high demand, so register early.
Under the Sea
Join us on the superkids seasub adventure. Travel 20,000 leagues under the sea and investigate everything from coral reefs to our finned friends. Learn about sponges, sea worms, sharks and rays, marine reptiles, how to maintain an aquarium and so much more. We’ll spend our time exploring with our hands and senses as we tranform our room into the ocean floor and create a sandy beach scene with stunning sand castles. Campers will also visit local waterparks and acquariums. Don’t miss this opportunity to unleash your child’s imagination as we explore a world under the sea.Around the World
Did you know that you can see The Great Wall of China from space? Come learn about this and other wonders in our exciting, adventure filled camp. Explore the cultures, music, food and national treasures of China, Rome, and India. Let your imagination run wild as we take you on an African safari. Children will have an opportunity to learn how treasures such as The Coliseum, the Taj Mahal, and The Great Wall of China were built and attempt to construct their own structures. Come sample the foods and attire of these nationalities and join us as we celebrate these cultures in a grand parade and food fest at the end of camp.IVY KIDS Acting Troupe Theater and Fine Arts Camp
Let’s take play to a new level as we introduce your thespian-in-training to the wonders of fine arts through music, art, and readers’ theater. Your child will express themselves through mediums like painting and drawing to create their own personal masterpieces. We’ll help your child gain confidence as they try their hand at acting, writing plays, and exploring music. They’ll also be involved in building and painting their own sets and props. The Ivy Kids Acting Troupe will have an opportunity to showcase their talents in mini performances for other students in the Center. Your child will get a healthy dose of creative play and a chance to exercise their performing arts talent. We’ll attend live performance in area theater and music halls to get a glimpse of trained artists in action.Under Construction
Strap on your tool belts and join the fun in this hands-on, interactive camp.
We’ll work together building castles and play structures. Our young builders will have an opportunity to examine structures form the ground up and even build a full scale geodesic dome!
Part two of this camp is our "City Works Project" where our architects use their creative powers to design and help build a small city. Imagine your child playing real life games as grown-ups all the while learning about their community; cook and serve a nutritious meal in the Ivy Grille, pretend to be a world traveler or travel agent in the International Travel Agency, find out about the world of finance at the Chase Bank of Pearland, operate retail shops and a chamber of commerce, apply for jobs and elect a mayor at the city hall.Greek Mythology
Imagine immersing yourself in the rich world of mythology and culture.
Learn about the might of Hercules, the wit of Odysseus and the peerless warrior Achilles. We’ll take your child through time to ancient Greece in search of gods and heroes. Camp participants will build a Trojan horse, make their own togas, and use clay to model figures of ancient mythology. Children will explore the Olympic games and play online games such as “Adventures in Ancient Greece” and “Who wants to be an Ancient Greek Millionaire” and have an opportunity to recreate the adventures of the Greek heroes through research, storytelling, and creating their own board games.IVY League Sports Camp
Discovery, adventure, and fun await campers is this activity packed sports camp. Participate in games like basketball, dodge-ball, soccer, volleyball, relay races, and tumbling. Get out in the fresh air and enjoy fun in the sun on splash days and field trips to skating rinks and parks. We’ll top off the week of activities with a field day designed by the participants.
Want to learn how cola, paste, ice cream and chocolate are made? Do you enjoy science and creative inventions? Join other “inventors” in exploring secret formulas. We’ll learn what scientists and investors do when they develop new products and innovations.Space for summer programs at IVY KIDS is limited!
